About

Matt Rose

I’m a full-time Media Analyst with AMC Networks, managing delivery of creative assets for titles across the company’s theatrical distributors (IFC Films; RLJ Entertainment) and streaming brands (Shudder; Sundance Now; ALLBLK; Acorn TV). I also freelance as a script consultant and contest coordinator for WriteMovies.com. I analyze original screenplays, write development notes and script coverage, and aid in pitching the top scripts to industry contacts. (If you have a script you’d like detailed feedback on, reach out!)

I’m a graduate of Northeastern University with a bachelor’s degree in Communications & Media and a minor in Media Production. Between semesters, I spent 6 months working for Red Summit Productions as a full-time production assistant, compiling my project research into client-facing pitch decks, booking studio spaces and freelancers, and aiding on sets. I also edited video content, managed social media, and I completed my short film Waverly. My next upcoming short film is currently in post production.

My final year in college, I spent 6 months working with IFC Films as a full-time co-op in their Post-Production department. I managed delivery workflows by coordinating with independent filmmakers, producers, and licensors to ensure timely receipt of physical and legal deliverables and by maintaining detailed inventory spreadsheets. I also had the pleasure of watching many unreleased indie films to quality check video files and accessibility features, create and edit subtitles, and provide TV ratings.
