Waverly focuses on the titular character, a young woman who is awoken and led to a beautiful garden by a mysterious visitor. I wrote, produced, directed, and edited this short film in the summer and fall of 2021.

Waverly was one of my most involved shorts in terms of coordination, with a hefty production book to prove it. The beautiful score by composer Aidan Kale, terrifying monster makeup by Karly Stigliano, and onscreen talents of studying actress Isabella DiBernardino and filmmaker Shaina Ahmed brought this short to life. It’s always incredible to work with fellow ambitious creatives when they’re passionate about what they do! I thank them all for helping me bring what began as a couple pages in my idea journal to full fruition.
